TRY USING THIS SOFTWARE TO FIND DRIVERS AND UPDATE THEM.
HERE IS THE WEBSITE TO THE DOWNLOAD:http://windowdriver.com/drivers/dvd.php?…

Download the sound card and camera drivers for Vista (or for 7, if HP has updated) for that computer. Also download any webcam software if there’s any listed. Install them all. (7 is a LOT better than Vista – it’s what Vista should have been. Your husband just didn’t do the update correctly.)
(ALWAYS download drivers from the manufacturer’s site. Downloading them from “driver sites” can give you viruses or, worse, the wrong driver.)

It is my understanding that Vista Drivers can be use for about 95% in Windows 7, even though this hasn’t been confirmed positively. The reason being so is Windows 7 was a complete rewrite of Windows Vista with enhancements to the operating system and a replacement for Vista. I see all kinds of Windows 7 issues here in this question and answers section, so this is not something new.

    It’s the driver problem….
HP hasn’t loaded the driver for window 7…
    u hav 2 options
1)Either use the window as it’s
    2) or shift the window to previous one n wait for the release of drivers from the HP…
