    Yes,
    You need to install the drivers. for sound card and webcam
    You do not need driver for CD/DRIVE,
    .
    If you going to upgrade from Windows vista then no. you don`t need to update.

    Possibly no if you had Vista and did not do a clean install. Use Device Manager in Control Panel to see if any detected hardware is not functioning.
