I just bought Wi Fi for my home latpop. Which softwares should I install to make the connection secure?
It doesn’t have a static IP.
Reason being I heard a lot about terrorists using internet and unsecured connection to their use. I want to make sure that no body should do id theft, hacking or any other internet crime using my connection.

terrorists using your wireless internet is highly unlikely and virtually has no risk. To keep it secure though zone alarm is very effecient and secure. I’ve been using it for years. It is for the most advanced security to the standard home user with control over programs, registry, and other ports.
You don’t have to install any software for it. Your Wifi connects to a router and what matters is the security of the router or network you are connected to.
Make sure you have a good firewall and a good antivirus program. Are you using a router? Make sure you put a good password on it.
no need to install any software. but make sure u configure modem so that it is secured wireless network.
